Cascadia Forest Goods (CFG) has been FSC certified since 1997. Most of the forests where CFG sources lumber have been
independently certified as meeting the "principles and criteria" of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC),
an international non-governmental organization, whose members include
environmental organizations, forest land owners and forest product
companies, Tribes, and other businesses and organizations.
Cascadia Forest Goods, is part of a regional network of foresters,
restoration workers, mills, and woodworkers, who collectively are able
to provide a wide array of forest products from sustainably managed
forests and restoration work in forests. Our primary area of work is
the Temperate Rainforest of the Cascadia Bio-region, which stretches
from northern California, through British Columbia, up to SW Alaska,
and between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. We also supply forest products from across the US, and from
around the world.
